October was a super busy month. We had 2 huge events that went super well–Arrojo crew we love you and Crunch, you’re amazing. I wanted to get some Skimkim chefs together to blow off some steam. I got a group of 5 for Astor Center’s first “Food Fight”. It was a night of food trivia: NY restaurants, chefs, history, ingredients, science, etc. There was a bit if shittalking, a natural element of competition.

AND WE WON! Yeah, we took home the trophy, $250 of smoked meat. Hells yes. We’re planning an autumn BBQ to celebrate. Cuz We Are The Champions.
