GEORGIA’S EAST SIDE BBQ
I posted this on Team Swine, but here it is on Skimkim, too. For you lazy fools…
It’s in the LES. Super small. Didn’t go specifically for BBQ. But while we sat there contemplating okra vs. greens (we got both), we agreed that we had to order the ribs for the Team. Quarter rack score. Rub was lackluster, meat wasn’t very flavorful and barely warm. Definitely not what I’d order from there. I WOULD order the goddam chicken wings. They were smokin. Amazing flavor. Smoked. Freshly grilled. Hot (temp.) and with a bit of kick from some mustard. Okra was awesome. Greens weren’t nearly as good as mine. That ain’t gonna ever happen and we all know it.
I’d say go to any Team Member but don’t bother ordering the ribs. Everything else was pretty good. Try it.
*Note: To amuse myself, I often log in to my yesteryear stock photo sites and search for random words. I was thinking that the ribs were “Lackluster” at Georgia’s. This pic came up when I searched for “Lackluster.” This is what I did for a laugh when I was an art director and billing some huge corporation for my valuable time. Thank you, Mercedes-Benz.
