Think toilet paper, clowns, and jail. Now, make a short film in 24 hours. That’s just what A76 Productions did. It’s called “Get The Thing” and it was awesome. Duffy and team held the screening at the lovely Heathers in the East Village and Skimkim arrived with some yummy treats.

Since the movie was about a derelict receiving instructions from the inside of the slammer, we at Skimkim dug into our movie favs and came up with “Cool Hand Things”. Or rather, Lemon Caper Devilled Eggs. They went fast, along with the “Communication Failures” or, Texas Pete Jalepeño Hard Boiled Eggs. If you found a key tucked away in your egg, you won a prize! The lucky winner walked away with a fresh roll of toilet paper…(it was a theme in the movie)

If you’re a Paul Newman fan, you know that these are references to “Cool Hand Luke”, one of the best films ever made. Check out the menu and of course, the best scene of the movie!
