FAGAT SURVEY: Antibes Café by Jules Kim

Jules Kim, Designer/Owner of Bijules and Twin de Moi, gives us this week’s Fagat Survey. A little Frawnchy-Frawnch-Awh Hawh Hawh?

…My truffle omelet was amazing and light with just three slivers of potato which means I’m not going to get fat from them and enough greens to cleanse a palate that is still happy. Dax and Kat were so relieved that our meal was touchingly tasty and my pittie was soaking in the sun and sipping on some water the manager had put out for him…there were no uncomfortable  run-ins with hipsters or their polar opposite, yuppies, so ambiance-wise it was just us and good food and company…thank fuckin god.

Their middle eastern spin on tiramisu was layered with sweet spun threads on top of a light bed of mascarpone and pomegranate syrup. And the espresso was perfect. I will definitely go back and not act like a retarded brunch fly who cant find anything by themselves and only repeats bad habits like going to Schillers (Sorry Kat, I love you very much still. It was the desperation of the moment…)
