Many of you Aussie troublemakers (are there any other kind?), frequent Eight Mile Creek in Nolita. A while back, they got into a little trouble by serving Kangaroo. Turns out that Public, just up the street, was also the EPA’s target. Kangaroo is an endangered species? 

My research says that out of the 60 species of kangaroo, most are not endangered, especially in the wallaby family. In fact, the Grey and Red Kangaroo’s are considered pests in many parts of Australia and often have to be culled by farmers. So, what’s the deal, EPA? Why can’t we have Roo Nuggs?
