Friday was Good Friday so for the religious, it was a fish day. My cousin had a fish fry at her house in Clinton Hill and we stuffed our faces with crispy skrimp, fish, and squash. I, of course, brought a bucket o’ kimchi and a bottle o’ bourbon. Erin knows I DJ so at one point she asked me to put some tunes on and I queued up a mix I had done a few weeks ago. It started out with Prince and all the girls started swangin some hip. I asked if anyone had seen the Prince doll and everyone was like, “WHAT???” I explained that an artist named Troy Gua, a self-proclaimed Superfan, made a doll and a shitton of amazing replications of his most famous outfits.
