A counterfeit operation was shut down this month in China when officials found an underground condom factory. Bare-chested employees were lubricating the condoms with vegetable oil to make them smooth and shiny before placing them directly in bags without bothering with sterilization. They are said to have distributed 2.16 million of these unsterilized veggie oil condoms under popular names like “Durex”, “Rough Rider”, “Six Sense” and “Love Card.” So gross. Counterfeiting seems to be an epidemic these days.
